Birdathon 2023 - Kingbirds
Birds have a unique, special, and different meaning to each of us. So, too, is each of our connection with Buffalo Audubon Society personal and distinct. During Birdathon, we combine the love of bird watching during spring migration with support for bird conservation. Each team has 24 hours to find as many bird species as possible in the WNY area. To support a team, you can make a flat donation, or for even more fun, a small donation per species seen.
Every spring, the Kingbirds goal is to see more than 130 species and raise $1000 for the Buffalo Audubon Society. Their record for most birds seen in one day is 138!
Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of Western NY. Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible. If you are not a current member, and pledge $100 or more, you will receive a 1-year individual or family membership courtesy of Buffalo Audubon! Of course, any amount you pledge is very much appreciated!
Birdathon donations are 100% tax deductible as the Buffalo Audubon Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
